Credit Card Processing Fees Canada - Rate Calculator

Visa and Mastercard set interchange rates across Canada.

Choose the way that best describes how you collect payments from your customers. The way you process cards will impact the transaction cost.
How do you process transactions? [+]
  • E-commerce transactions are where your customers purchase products or services on your website.
  • E-commerce with 3DSecure is an extra security feature that merchants can implement to prevent fraud. Mastercard rewards merchants that use 3DSecure with a lower interchange rate on e-commerce transactions.
  • Phone / Virtual Terminal orders are where you take orders over the phone and key them into your computer manually.
  • In-store or retail POS transactions involve using a physical POS machine where the customer enters their PIN number into the machine.

Interchange plus markup %: [+]

If you enter an interchange plus quote that you have received we can calculate the exact processing cost that you'll incur for each different card type in Canada.
