Our CEO David Goodale was recently interviewed by Giacomo Panico of CBC News Ottawa to explain what card testing is, and how it can be a problem for e-commerce merchants. In the story he's investigating, mysterious vegetables have been showing up on people's doorsteps in Ottawa that they never ordered and didn't pay for. The orders would be delivered to one house after the next on the street, concentrated in a single area, with nothing more than a single cucumber or head of lettuce in each package.

Why would this be happening? It's obvious that something is afoot, but what is the cause behind all of this? Is it a case of card testing by fraudsters, or perhaps a brushing scam by a marketplace seller to manipulate the algorithm and improve their rankings?
